Joseph C. Wood

Joseph C. Wood is an Partner at Arcadier, Biggie & Wood, PLLC  practicing in the area of civil litigation at the State, Federal and Appellate levels, with a focus on employment and business litigation.

Background

Mr. Wood graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a B.S. in Political Science. During his time at FSU, he was a member Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and Tau Epsilon Phi Fraternity where he served as Vice-President and Secretary. After completing his undergraduate studies, Mr. Wood graduated with his Juris Doctorate degree from Florida State University, College of Law in 2011. During his second year of law school, he studied internationally at The Tulane Center for International Human Rights and International Criminal Law in The Netherlands, and in his final year of law school he interned in the post-conviction appeals division at Florida’s First District Court of Appeal, in Tallahassee, Florida.

Though originally from Monmouth County, New Jersey, Mr. Wood has extensive family ties to Brevard County, Florida dating back to the inception of the space program and he graduated from West Shore Jr./Sr. High School in Melbourne, Florida.  Mr. Wood is admitted to practice in every state court in New Jersey, Florida, and the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
