Fernando Palacios
Background
Mr. Fernando Palacios has practiced law in Brevard County for nearly thirty-two (32) years. His practice has included business law, civil litigation, international law, family law, real property, wills, trusts and probate and immigration and naturalization law. For many years Mr. Palacios has focused the majority of his practice in the area of immigration and naturalization. He has been admitted to practice law before all State Courts, including the Florida Supreme Court, U.S. Middle District of Florida, U.S. Southern District of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Judicial Nominating Commission
On August 5, 1999, Mr. Palacios was appointed a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Eighteenth Judicial Circuit by Governor Jeb Bush and continued in that capacity until July of 2003. Mr. Fernando Palacios is also a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the Brevard Bar Association. He also has a membership and is active in the Eau Gallie Rotary Club, the Knights of Columbus, the Republican Party, both National and Local, the Republican Hispanics of Brevard, the Florida Space Coast Council for International Visitors and Club Hispano Americano de Brevard. Mr. Palacios has been a frequent lecturer in matters of Immigration and Naturalization, export/import for seminars sponsored by the Space Coast World Trade Council, and writes a monthly article on immigration law for the El Playero newspaper, serving Brevard’s Hispanic population. He has appeared as an occasional guest speaker for local radio stations.
Immigration Law Specialist
In addition to a very large individual client base, Mr. Palacios has provided advice in the area of Immigration & Naturalization Law to corporate clients such asRemec Q-Bit, Inc., JDS Uniphase, Geodetic, Inc., Artemis International, Atlantis Laboratories, Far Research, ISBA, Percepta, Macho Products, MICL, Varimetrix, Radisson Hotels, and many restaurants and smaller businesses in the community. He has been a member for several years of the Florida Space Coast Council for International Visitors, Club Hispano Americano de Brevard and the Space Coast World Trade Council and was President of the Board of Directors of The Hamlet Homeowners Association.
